Westminster Connects at Pride in London
Westminster Connects provided eight volunteers, stationed in the Piccadilly Grandstand area. Our volunteers worked closely with volunteers from Pride in London to check tickets, look after guests, and support the stands.
The volunteers were a friendly and welcoming presence to all visitors throughout the day. The event featured a vibrant parade with five hundred groups, including LGBTQ+ community organizations, businesses, partners, and approximately thirty-five thousand participants marching in solidarity.
Volunteering at Pride in London with Westminster Connects offered a wonderful opportunity to connect with the wider London community and witness first-hand the positive impact that events like this have on people’s lives.
Volunteer Reflections:
“I was thrilled when I was selected to help out at Pride, especially as it was in memory of my auntie, Jackie Briggs. The day was action-packed, fun, and full of positive energy. I can highly recommend volunteering at Pride in 2026” Niral, Westminster Connects Volunteer, July 2025
“Thanks for the amazing experience. The day was unforgettable, and being part of such an important event was truly inspiring” James, Westminster Connects Volunteer, July 2025
